The sequel to the film Icarus focuses on the further fates of pianist Kára, who decided to fight the demon of alcohol. With the support of his family, he enters an alcohol treatment center. In the treatment center, he gradually gets used to the new environment and the harsh daily routine. He also meets several patients, and perhaps the closest he gets to know is the alcoholic Fendrych. A tale of a boy whose desire to correct human vices was stronger than the power of hell itself. Apolena, a herbalist, finds an abandoned newborn baby in a rye field. She names him Rye and raises him into a brave young man. Rye is recruited into the king's army and the king's evil advisor, Prince Neklan, orders him to collect taxes from his subjects. Rye learns first-hand how evil and unjust power can be and rebels against it. His sense of justice, joy of life and cleverness charm even Princess Adelka, but he also catches the eye of the devil Philistine, who would like to bring him to hell. So she disguises herself as the beautiful Marquise and tries to lure him to the benefits of evil: he will be rich and famous. But Rye cannot be lured. And so, in addition to Neklan, who is also trying to win Adelka, he must also fight against the power of hell itself.

One day, a mysterious servant named Dorian appears in the hut of the magician Boniface as an inheritance from Boniface's uncle. Dorian, punished for his pride, is a man by day and a cat by night. Part of his uncle's legacy is also a magic book, with the help of which Boniface begins to prosper. Dorian secretly discovers how to break his spell: he must find a girl with a heart of gold. Princess Ludmila from a nearby kingdom has such a heart, which she wears as a pendant. Dorian persuades the magician Boniface to use his magical powers to kidnap Princess Ludmila and make her his housekeeper. But the princess's bold and fearless maid, Anděla, easily deals with Boniface. And, of course, Dorian soon falls in love with the princess...
